The German Srurmgewehr 44 assault rifle is not only a good looking firearm but also a critical breakthrough of firearm revolution. During WWII, the army around the world encounter similar issue that regular full-length rifle often not suitable for various combat environment, especially in an urban combat environment. The battle rifle at WWII era which design and already be used during WWI, like Mosin-Nagant, Springfield M1903, and Kar98k rifles have trouble dealing with close quarter combat in the urban and suburban environment. So everyone is desperate to find a new form of a weapon system that will fulfill the need of rifle caliber assault weapon. And then, we have StG44 as the pioneer of the modern assault rifle family.
StG44突擊步槍為二戰德軍所研發生產的武器。這把槍不僅僅是看起來很漂亮而已，它同時在世界槍械發展史上有著重要的地位。二戰期間，世界各參戰國都發現一個嚴重的問題，那就是手中的手栓式步槍無法滿足城鎮作戰的需求，射速太低，長度又太長。而儘管衝鋒槍有著強大的近距離火力與小巧的槍身，但是中距離的精準度就很令人堪憂，威力也不足。因此，各國都急於發展一種中間威力的武器，這種武器既有著不錯的中距離準度與威力，同時全自動射擊時也還算可以控制。最後，再經歷了Mkb42、MP43等試驗後，世界上第一種大規模服役的突擊步槍 – StG44就此誕生了。
After rebuilding the base model of StG44, I figure it might be fun to add some attachment for this legendary rifle. With the suppressor and tactical rail system, I turned this WWII legend to a modern combat rifle. At least it looks amazing on screen, right?
在完成基本型號的StG44之後，我想，如果把它加上現代才有的附加裝備會怎麼樣呢? 消音器，戰術軌道等等，都讓這把二戰經典看起來依然很有威力。至少，螢幕上看起來很棒對吧?
