Panther II (WIP – 2)
After the road wheels and tracks. It’s time to build the hull. The Panther II’s hull was pretty familiar with the Panther tank. The shape was the same. But the armor thickness was thicker on the Panther II. The upper front armor became 100mm thick, and the side armor increased to 60mm. Speaking about the size, the Panther II hull was a little bit longer than the regular Panther hull. And the width and height basically kept the same.
在路輪與履帶之後，是時候來製作車身的部分了。豹式二型的車身設計和標準的豹式非常接近，外型一樣，只是裝甲厚度更厚了，首上裝甲強化到100mm，同時車身側面強化到60mm，這些設計讓它的體重來到50公噸大關，對二戰來說已經是重戰車的標準了。當然，防護能力也是有的，首上傾斜55度的100mm裝甲可以帶來約170mm的防護力，這可以在一定距離上防禦二戰末期的美蘇兩國重戰車的攻擊。整體尺寸上來說豹式二型比豹式稍微大一點，主要是車身更長一點，但是寬度與高度基本維持不變。
Since the Panther II project was canceled in 1943. And the turret has never been built. There were several drawings about the updated Panther II turret design. But in this case, I decided to make the Panther F turret. This “Schmalturm" is a smaller version of the production Panther turret. The frontal armor of this turret is thicker than before – 120mm. Which gave it better survivability and crew protection. A pair of “eyes" on the side of turret was the 1.32m stereoscopic rangefinder, worked similarly to those on battleships turret.
豹式二型的計畫於1943年取消，砲塔的設計更是從來沒有完成，只有寥寥幾張圖只留下來。這裡使用的是豹式F型的砲塔，這款稱之為"Schmalturm"的窄型砲塔有著更小的輪廓與更厚的裝甲。正面120mm的裝甲給了它更強大的防護力。兩側的"小眼睛"是1.32m長的測距儀，工作方式類似船艦砲塔上的測距儀。

With the accurate as-built drawings form “Panzer tracts No.5-4″, this Panther II tank model will be extremely detailed and life-like. For the very first part of this series, let us start with the wheels and tracks! It took me around five hours to Google for detail pictures and process the modeling. Compare to American or Soviet tank tracks, the German ones were always more complex.
有著二戰德軍戰車權威著作"Panzer tracts No.5-4″的幫忙，這次的豹式二型建模將會非常精準且寫實。而在此系列的第一集，就先從戰車的"無限軌道系統"開始吧。這套系統其實和之後的虎二式非常類似，畢竟當時豹式二型計畫的初衷其一就是為了簡化德軍的生產線。這一部分花了我大約四個小時的時間，德軍複雜的履帶終究還是比較花時間。

F-104G Starfighter
Background:
F-104 Starfighter is a supersonic interceptor aircraft that produce and design by Lockheed. Primary users include USAF, German Air force, ROC Air Force and JASDF. It is part of the Century series of fighter aircraft which operated by multiple air force from 1958 to 2004.
F-104G is the new version of F-104 which design by Lockheed in 1956. The official name while still designing is F-104-7.
One of the Air Force that operated this powerful aircraft is the Republic of China Air Force. ROCAF had operate 238 F-104s
After few practice through our first F-X Project, we are able to gather all the critical dimension through internet and try to be as precise as possible to recreate this beautiful aircraft.
